Upping the Ante

I have had a challenge going on for some time, the $1000 Global Warming Skeptic Challenge. Skeptics and deniers all say the science and the data do not support the conclusion that there is manmade global warming. Fine, here is your chance to prove your claim, AND get paid for it. Who couldn't use an extra $1000? The best part is, it doesn't even have to be original work. You can cut and paste the proof from somewhere else. The only requirement is that it follows the scientific method. There is no entry fee, just submit it via this blog.

So far, no one has even submitted an entry. This is somewhat confusing. Deniers are very vocal and even strident about their claim. So, what's the problem? Put your science where your mouth is. This is not a scam and it is not rigged. All submissions will be posted online and I will critique all of them. If you are successful in showing your point, you win! Again, I emphasize that it must be done via the scientific method. Unscientific claims will not win, although they will get posted and critiqued.

Well, I have decided to make it even more tempting. It is now the $10,000 Global Warming Skeptic Challenge! If $1000 wasn't enough for the deniers, maybe this will be. Again, this isn't a scam. I have the $10,000. It would be a bit hit to have to pay it out,but I will gladly do so if someone can prove manmade global warming is not real.

I would really like to tell the deniers to put up or shut up, but I know they won't do either. The reason is because they can't. There is no scientific evidence to support their claims and the science overwhelming proves exactly opposite of what they are claiming. They can get away with making unsubstantiated claims in public, because most people won't make them prove them. But, in a scientific proof they will have to prove every point and they simply can't do it.
