What are your thoughts? Do you think he'll respond? Do you think I went too far? Not far enough? From: "dogw.email"Date:11/06/2014 8:52 AM (GMT-06:00)To: media@heartland.orgSubject: Debate ChallengeI have seen Mr. John Coleman in several interviews and seen some of his videos. What I have seen leads me to conclude Mr. Coleman is a liar and a fraud. I am challenging him to a public debate on the issues of manmade climate change. If he accepts this challenge he can contact me at this email address.Christopher KeatingDogw.email@gmail.com
I'll keep you posted on any developments.
You'll hear only the sound of crickets.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm afraid of. I really would like to get him on a stage in front of an audience.
ReplyDeleteIf you could get him in front of television cameras, you might get your debate.
ReplyDeleteI would love that. Nothing like documentation. They contacted me today to ask if I was the same guy that did the challenge. I'm not sure what that means other than they at least received my invitation.
ReplyDeleteAlternatively, maybe you could get a teevee debate with noted climate expert Marc Morano ...
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go out on a limb and guess that such people would never do one which lasts more than a few minutes.
I think you really are going out on limb. I don't think these people would debate for even a few minutes. Not unless they really are as crazy as they appear.
ReplyDeleteI doubt if the debate will take place, but if it does it will do nothing to change the minds of people whose minds are already made up.
ReplyDeleteIt might possibly influence a few of the people who are undecided, but have enough intelligence to understand the arguments and enough honesty to make up their own minds and ignore the people who attempt to turn the science into a political issue.
Your comment is exactly on target and is the reasoning behind the global warming challenge.
